One purchase licences one individual to use Contour Study on that person's own computers for personal and commercial work, including client work. You may keep using your lawfully obtained version without a subscription. You may make backups, inspect the code and modify your copy for your own use. An organisation may purchase a licence for a named user; additional users need their own licences. Paying more than the minimum adds no users or features.

You may not redistribute, sublicense, resell or offer the application or a modified version as a hosted service, except as permitted by applicable law, separate third-party licences or itch.io's applicable platform permissions. Mandatory rights concerning backup, correction, interoperability and lawful transfer are preserved. These restrictions concern the application, not your art.

We claim no rights in your source images or exported artwork. Contour Study adds no attribution requirement or royalties to your exports. You may use and sell them subject to the rights in your source material.

The product description and supplied instructions define supported functions and limits. No physical plotter operation, custom artwork service, future features or compatibility with every browser or SVG editor is promised.

Your mandatory consumer rights concerning delivery, conformity, remedies and required updates remain unaffected. This licence does not impose an exclusive foreign court, blanket liability exclusion or waiver of statutory remedies.

The application code processes selected images in your browser on your device. It contains no image-upload service, application analytics, advertising, account login or online activation. This describes the application, not your browser, extensions, operating system or cloud-synchronised folders.

Working data is held in the page session. Closing or refreshing the page clears the working session; export SVG before leaving if you want to keep the drawing. Keep your source image separately. Export filenames derive from the source name; an SVG's descriptive label also includes the source name. Review exports before sharing, especially if they concern a client or person. Your browser and operating system may retain downloads, history and temporary data under their own settings. No secure-erasure promise is made.

Purchasing and downloading through itch.io are separate from running the app. Itch.io and its payment providers process account, transaction, device and service-use data under their own notices. See https://itch.io/docs/legal/privacy-policy and the provider shown at checkout.

The publisher uses purchase information you provide or itch.io makes available only to identify purchases, provide support, resolve refunds/disputes and meet recordkeeping duties. This may include your contact details, order reference, product and payment status. The app itself receives no payment-card details.

Email support involves your email address and the information you send. Please describe the problem first; avoid confidential artwork and unnecessary personal data. Contact/order details may be needed to answer or identify a purchase; source images are normally optional. Purposes and legal bases are contract performance or requested pre-contract steps, legitimate interests in answering other enquiries and resolving actual claims, and applicable legal recordkeeping duties. Buying or seeking help does not add you to a marketing list. There are no solely automated decisions producing legal or similar effects.

Fastmail Pty Ltd hosts the publisher's email. Necessary purchase/refund details may be shared with itch.io, and records with competent authorities where legally required. Fastmail describes international processing and safeguards, including standard contractual clauses, at https://www.fastmail.com/policies/privacy/. Contact the publisher for information about applicable safeguards. Processing is not promised to remain exclusively in the EU. Customer artwork is not sent to an external AI service under this support policy; any different diagnostic sharing must have its purpose and recipient explained before it occurs.

Routine resolved enquiry/support correspondence is deleted within 90 days after resolution. Unnecessary diagnostic artwork is removed when no longer needed. Limited records needed for accounting, another legal duty or an actual dispute are retained for the applicable legal or claim period, restricted to that purpose. Provider backups and security records follow their own notices.

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, or object to legitimate-interest processing where applicable. Where consent is used, it may be withdrawn without affecting earlier lawful processing. Proportionate identity verification may be needed. You may complain to Latvia's Data State Inspectorate: https://www.dvi.gov.lv/. Contact itch.io for records it controls and the publisher for publisher records. For help, describe the problem and include the app version, browser/version, operating system and any error message. For purchase issues, include your itch.io purchase reference. Do not send passwords, card details or confidential client artwork. Describe the problem before sending any diagnostic image.

Support covers delivery, opening the app and its documented functions. It does not include custom artwork, operating machinery or every external SVG editor. There is no guaranteed reply or repair time; legal deadlines and remedies apply.

This is a one-time paid download through itch.io, with a US$2.99 minimum. You may pay more without receiving additional features or users. Check the applicable taxes and final total at checkout before committing to payment. Itch.io is the merchant of record for the Collected by itch purchase route.

For payment, access or refund requests, contact https://itch.io/support with your purchase information. You may also contact the publisher about product problems. Where an EU statutory withdrawal right applies, the usual period for digital content is 14 days from concluding the contract. Send a clear withdrawal statement through the purchase support route, identifying yourself, the order and purchase date. You may copy the publisher at the support email above. Optional wording: "I withdraw from my purchase of Contour Study. Order: ____. Purchase date: ____. Name: ____. Address: ____. Date: ____." You need not use this wording. A paper notice may be signed; email need not be. Any applicable platform withdrawal function also remains available.

Loss of a digital-content withdrawal right requires the applicable express consent, acknowledgement and confirmation. Merely downloading the app or reading these terms does not provide that consent. This notice does not assert that your rights have been waived. Mandatory rights survive a platform decision.

You may continue using your purchased version under LICENCE.txt. Future major versions, features or universal future compatibility are not promised. Required corrections, security updates and remedies remain available for the period required by applicable law.

There is no automatic updater. Obtain supplied updates through your original itch.io purchase/download page. Keep your receipt, download link, source images and SVG exports. Extract an update separately before replacing your app. Required update information will explain changes and installation steps through the purchase/support channel.
